MEET JERMAIN
Jermain Yew is the founder of Flowing Wonders. With a background in Electrical Engineering and MBA, Jermain later on found his passion in Astrology and metaphysical studies as Jermain has a strong desire to understand more about life and help people realize their true potential living a happy and successful life.
After 10 years studying and working in the United States telecom industry, Jermain decided to equip himself with skills to manage people and business by taking up full-time MBA at one of the top universities in China, i.e. Peking University in Beijing. Jermain had always wanted to visit but had never been to China at that time, so it was a very exciting venture!
It was right before going to China that Jermain was brought into the world of metaphysics and spiritual awakening by his neighbor Jennifer Lee in Malacca (Melaka), Malaysia. At first, Jermain was “very” reluctant and highly skeptical of the whole idea of metaphysics as he considered himself a devout Christian at that time, however with the constant gentle nudges from Jennifer inviting Jermain to free classes offered by Dehyana and Dr. Aaron, Jermain gradually was willing to go to the Friday night classes and listen to some of the teachings by Dehyana and Dr. Aaron. It was not until something extraordinary happened to Jermain during the spiritual trip with Dehyana in Egypt that Jermain completely opened his heart to accepting the fact that we are indeed spiritual beings in a human body. It was with the teachings from Dehyana, Dr. Aaron, and Mr. Douglas Leong, and with the tremendous help from wonderful friends like Jennifer Lee, LeAnn Tang, Peter Siew, Tham Chee Wah, Teng Yu Ching, Anthony Pinto, and many others in Malaysia that Jermain began his spiritual journey. In fact, Jermain is the spiritual name that was given during the initiation ceremony with Dehyana in the Lucky Valley retreat in 2006. This name rings true in Jermain’s heart, and he is much grateful for being given this name.
Since then, Jermain has been learning from many teachers and friends on various metaphysics subjects, such as energy healing, crystals, dowsing, Feng Shui, angel therapy, astrology, tarot and oracle cards, and so on. Among all these subjects that are dear to his heart, Jermain is especially fascinated by the world of astrology, and he has a deep inner satisfaction when his friends benefited positively from the astrological readings he did for them. Jermain always remembers the special moment he picked up his first astrology book in a Chinese bookstore in the Chicago China Town back in July 2005. That incident opened the floodgates to Jermain’s world of astrology, and life is never the same again ever since.
Constantly researching and practicing his astrological knowledge and various other metaphysical skills, Jermain is grateful and honored to have some achievement as a Certified Soul Coaching® Master Oracle Card Practitioner, Certified Professional Life Coach (CPC), Certified NLP Practitioner, Certified Reiki Master, Life Force Energy (LFE) Healer, and a Feng Shui Practitioner.
Jermain lives in Shanghai with his wife Annie and daughter Annabelle. He is an avid tennis player and enjoys reading a good book with a cup of coffee. Jermain believes that all real and sustainable success originate from the mindset and attitude within us, supported by the appropriate balance with the external environment and outside influences. Because of his immersion in both the Western and Eastern cultures, Jermain utilizes his unique intercultural and international skills to provide his service and value to others. It is Jermain’s greatest joy when he lives his passion helping people live a happy and successful life by creating and designing their desired lifestyle from the inside out.
